What are Signature Peptide Facials?
At Skin Bar MD, we offer a wide range of customized medical facials that address the most common skin complaints. Each facial has been carefully designed by our board-certified dermatologist to give you maximal results and minimal downtime. Our facials use the clinically effective, medical grade skin care products that are coupled with a customized skin care routine to help you achieve your skin care goals. For best results, we recommend a facial every 2-4 weeks.

The Skin Bar Mini: An assessment facial that allows your skin therapist to identify your skin concerns and develop a treatment plan
In the Clear: Our signature acne facial includes a deep cleanse, skin analysis, tone, steam, light extraction, light enzymatic peel, moisturizer, and SPF.
Fountain of Youth: Our anti-aging facial is loaded with anti-oxidants and firming peptides to help correct, and protect your skin from environmental pollutants that result in premature aging.
Red, Red Go Away: Signature facial for those with sensitive skin and/or rosacea using a gentle cleanser, tone, and soothing peptides that reduce facial redness and skin sensitivity.
Illumination: A skin brightening facial that addresses troublesome brown spots and hyperpigmentation. It includes a light enzymatic peel that visibly improves brown spots in just one treatment!
Tall Drink of Water: Got dry skin? We have you covered with our ultimate hydration facial that will help to rebalance and rehydrate even the driest skin.
Mommy and Me: Our signature facial that addresses the common concerns of pregnant and nursing mothers including acne and hyperpigmentation. All ingredients are green, clean, and safe for pregnant and nursing mothers.
Just for Kids: It’s never too early to take care of your skin! Our customized facial was designed for kids and tweens.
The Bar Man: A facial specifically addressing the needs of every man including shaving irritation, larger pores, increased exposure to the element, acne, and ingrown hairs.
Before your visit to the Bar:
- Stop all topical retinoids and retinols 3 days before treatment. This include over the counter anti-aging creams, and prescriptions such as Tazorac, Differin, or Retin-A.
- Please inform your skin therapist if you have any allergies, this includes all allergies to medications, foods, and topical ingredients.
After your visit to the Bar:
- When it comes to skincare, we’ve got you covered. Simply follow the skin care plan outlines by your skin therapist.
- There is little to no downtime associated with our facials, but you will want to make sure to wear lots of sunscreen after your treatment! And every day!!
