When scheduling your appointment, please choose the appropriate type of visit to ensure you receive the best care possible. Here’s a quick guide to help you decide:
Medical Appointments
- Purpose: These appointments are designed to address medical skin conditions, including acne, hair loss, skin infections, single lesions (such as warts, cysts, lipomas, or moles), and other dermatological concerns.
- Insurance: Usually covered by insurance. At the time of check-in, we collect deductibles, co-pays, and any patient responsibility based on your insurance plan. Please ensure you have your payment method ready during your visit.
Cosmetic Appointments
- Purpose: These appointments focus on cosmetic concerns, including treatments for anti-aging, dark spots, or aesthetic enhancements like Botox, fillers, and laser treatments.
- Consultation Requirement: If you are a new patient or wish to discuss a new cosmetic issue that you haven’t booked before, please schedule a cosmetic consultation first. This is essential for developing a personalized treatment plan.
- Procedure Scheduling: Only schedule a cosmetic procedure if you have had a prior consultation with Dr. Ip.
Self-Pay Appointments
- Purpose: For patients who do not have medical insurance, or have an insurance that we are not in network with.
- Payment: Payment is required at the time of service. We accept various forms of payment for your convenience.
